The Euronext 100 Index comprises the largest and most liquid stocks traded on Euronext. It represents 80% of the total market capitalization of Euronext's investment universe. Euronext operates markets in Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, and Oslo.
It allows companies to finance their growth by bringing together over 800 listed companies and 6,200 institutional investors. Euronext is a large, global stock exchange group, originally the combination of three former exchanges from France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. The company was once acquired by Intercontinental Exchange but now has returned to operating independently. As of February 2023, the largest company by market capitalization listed on the Euronext stock exchange was French luxury goods company LVMH, which consists of Louis Vuitton, Moët and Hennessy.
